LINDA JO OUHL

Linda Jo (Collett) Ouhl, 73, of Piqua, passed away at 11:25 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Versailles Health Care Center. She was born April 15, 1950 in Piqua to the late Blaine and Joan (Grieve) Collett Jr. She married David R. Ouhl June 13, 1970 in Piqua and he preceded her in death June 12, 2023.

Linda is survived by two sons, Troy (Angie) Ouhl of Piqua, Doug (Jenny) Ouhl of Lebanon; six grandchildren, Blane, Brady, Tyler (Britney), Trenton, Tanner, and Teagan; three great grandchildren, Everleigh, Uriah, and Piper; one brother, William Collett of Dayton; also many other relatives and friends.

Linda was a graduate of Piqua Central High School Class of 1968. She was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam Conflict. Linda previously attended St. John's Lutheran Church for many years. She had worked for Winan's Chocolates on the production side and really enjoyed her job and the people she worked with. Linda enjoyed flowers, and she loved her dogs. Linda was an avid collector of Longaberger Baskets and enjoyed taking trips with friends and family to the Longaberger headquarters in Dresden, Ohio. She was an avid sports fan, and loved attending her son's and grandchildren's sporting events over the years and also really liked being a part of the Piqua Football Mom's Club. Linda cherished going out to lunch with her brother Bill as well. She was the most caring wife, mother, and grandmother and she went out of her way to make sure her family was taken care of and the grandchildren were spoiled. She will truly be missed by all who loved her.

A service to honor Linda's life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2023 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with military honors provided by the Veteran's Elite Tribute Squad. Burial will be held privately at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday July 31, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.
