Vivian Jaymes “Vivi” Gardner, our sweet, beautiful, precious, funny, and magnetic angel was called home by the Lord on December 19, 2024 at 12:28 a.m. while being held in her mother’s arms and surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 31, 2023 in Dayton to Jeremy Gardner and Victoria Kiefer.
Along with her parents, she is survived by her bonus dad, Chris Stanfield; four siblings, Evelyn, Jacob, Jade, Johannah; grandparents, Sandy “Gaga” Kiefer, Sherlyn “Nana” Gardner; and her aunts, Jennifer Gardner, and Janet Jordan. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Vic Kiefer, and Jay Gardner.
Everyone who ever met her was enamored by her piercing blue eyes, bright orange hair, and toothy grin… a look we affectionately called her “razzle-dazzle”. When she entered the room, her smile would turn anyone’s day around and her laugh was infectious. She was a bright, sustaining light in an otherwise cold world. She gave shared hope, joy, and happiness with all she came in contact with. She enjoyed Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, and Moana, with her nightly routine being at least one of those before bed. Her favorite person in the world was her big sister Evelyn, with whom she loved to dance, sing, and chase around the house. Our girl was a fighter, with a strong heart and an even stronger will… there was no way but Vivi’s way. She was also a giant lover of all foods, especially steak, chocolate donuts, Diet Coke, and anything that included dip. She will be missed immensely and loved forever.
A service to honor her life will begin at 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2024 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Keith A. Gebhart and Pastor Josh Wade co-officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Dayton Children’s Hospital, 1 Children’s Plaza, Dayton, OH 45404.
