Tyler J. DeBrosse, 34, of Piqua, passed away unexpectedly at 3:39 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2022 in his home. He was born February 10, 1988 in Piqua to Dennis and Diane (Feight) DeBrosse of Piqua. He married Lindsey K. Rittenhouse May 13, 2017 and she survives.
Other survivors include a son, Colton Rittenhouse of Piqua; a sister, Robin (Gary Spain) Evans of Sidney; a brother, Ryan (Brittany) DeBrosse of Piqua; and his nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart, Owen, Preslee, Brady, Korren, and Brooke. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jamie Richard.
Tyler was a 2006 graduate of the Piqua Joint Vocational School. He worked as a journeyman sheet metal worker for Union Local 24. He was a dedicated and hardworking man who was talented in his skills. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council 3344, the Piqua Fish & Game and was an auxiliary member of the American Legion Post #184. He was a die hard fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He enjoyed collecting and shooting firearms with his friends. He was dedicated to his family and friends, who were the center of his life. He will be remembered for his friendship, his wonderful and goofy sense of humor, and his incredible hugs that if you were lucky enough to receive, won’t soon forget.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2022 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Eric Bowman as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at Beechwood Cemetery, Lockington. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home where a Knights of Columbus service will be held at 7:45p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Piqua Catholic School. 503 W.
