Timothy Craig Sirch, 71, beloved husband, dad, papaw, and brother, passed away on April 17, 2026, at Upper Valley Medical Center with his loving wife by his side. He had battled health conditions for many years, meeting each challenge with strength, courage, and perseverance. Despite what he was going through, he remained positive and never stopped being there for his family.
Tim was born on September 26, 1954, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Robert and Ruth (Gray) Sirch. He married his faithful companion and best friend, Terri Treon, on October 30, 1976, in Piqua. Their union spanned 49 beautiful years, filled with much joy and happiness. Their steadfast commitment and devotion to one another allowed them to stand firmly and face life's challenges together.
Tim truly loved and adored his wife. Together, they had two children, a daughter, Nina Sirch, and a son. Mitchel (Tatum) Sirch. Tim loved being a father and always supported his children; they were his proudest achievements. His pride and joy was his granddaughter, Marin Huddleston. He loved being a papaw and watching his sweet girl grow, learn, and play, always making sure she was careful in all she did. He especially loved when she would come over to "babysit."
He cherished his siblings, including Cathy Popp, Shawn Sirch, the late Michael Sirch, and the late Georgia Sirch. He was preceded in death by his in-laws, James Popp and Nancy Sirch. He also loved his extended family, including in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Tim proudly followed in his father's and grandfather's footsteps when he began working at Piqua Materials, where he dedicated 43 years of service. He took great pride in his work and especially enjoyed running the loader. Regardless of the weather or how he felt, he always worked hard to provide for his family.
Tim was a man who found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was just as content spending time at home or simply taking in the world around him without any particular plan. He especially enjoyed going to the casino to play blackjack, as well as fishing and watching the Bengals. He loved to laugh, joke, and keep those around him smiling. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family.
Tim will always be remembered for his lighthearted spirit, big heart, strong work ethic, and deep love for his family. He will be dearly missed, and those who knew him will forever be touched by the laughter and joy he brought into their lives.
A service to honor his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
