Tom was a 1966 graduate of Piqua Central High School and honorably served his country in Vietnam with the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He faithfully served the residents of Champaign County for many years as a rural postal carrier, a profession he truly enjoyed and took great pride in. Tom was a member and Past President of the State of Ohio Rural Letter Carrier Association. In addition to his postal career, Tom was a skilled butcher who worked for various local meat markets throughout the years and was the former owner and operator of Brown’s Meat Market. He also devoted many years of service to the Johnson St. Paris Volunteer Fire Department. Tom valued hard work and always kept himself busy around the house, but above all else, he was devoted to caring for his beloved wife. A wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, he loved his family deeply and cherished the time spent with them. His kindness and dedication will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
