THOMAS F. MEYER, JR.

Thomas F. Meyer Jr., 75 of Piqua, passed away at 9:52 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at his residence. He was born August 9, 1947 in Piqua to the late Thomas F. and Corinne Mae (Harris) Meyer Sr. He married Charlene (Corrado) "Dink" Meyer on January 30, 1981 and she preceded him in death October 12, 2020.

Survivors include a daughter, Casey McNear of Lehigh Acres, Florida; seven siblings, Sharon (Richard) Karns of Conover, Krista (Ted) Davis of Covington, Pattie (Tom) Deeter of Covington, Corinne (Joe) Smith of Jacksboro, Tennessee, John Meyer of Covington, Keitha Meyer of Piqua, and Melissa (Larry) Jones of Madison, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Taylor (Brandon Michael) McNear, Tabitha Davies, Tori (Janiel) Umana, Brenden Charles; and six great grandchildren, Jaedon, Braxton, Amiyah, Cayden, Alice, and Carter.

Tom was a 1966 graduate of Piqua Central High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict; where he was stationed at Ft. Knox, Ft. Hood, Thailand and Okinawa. He worked for many years as a painter for Brian Bros. Painting and Restoration before his retirement in 2021. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed his leagues at Brel Aire Lanes. Additionally, he enjoyed fishing, gardening in his flower gardens and spending time with his grandchildren and family.

A private service to honor his life will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are being handled through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
