THEODORE "TED" A. SAUERS

Theodore A. "Ted" Sauers, 76, of Piqua, passed away at 6:29 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2024 at Ayden Healthcare. He was born August 9, 1948 in Piqua to the late William C. and Betty J. (McDorman) Sauers.

Survivors include his sister and brother in law, Shirley (Gary) Anderson of Piqua; his brother and sister in law, Dennis (Connie) Sauers of Vancouver, Washington; three nephews, Greg (Marcie) Anderson, Brett (Angie) Anderson, and Jay (Andi) Sauers; a great niece and nephew, Avery and Jaxen Anderson; also other relatives and friends.

Ted worked with Riverside of Miami County for many years and enjoyed working in the workshop with the friends he made there over the years. Ted enjoyed sports, and participated in the Special Olympics on the bowling team. He liked to follow the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds. He enjoyed going fishing at Lake Loramie when his family gathered at their cottage in the past. Ted was a "card shark" and enjoyed playing various card games with family and friends, especially Poker.

A service to honor his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Kris Geise officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, also at the funeral home.
