Terrence J. "Terry" Comer, 78, of Piqua, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at his home. He was born March 24, 1946 in Dayton to the late Albert "Baldy" and Helen Ruth (Smith) Kiss. He married Debra K. (Goodpaster) Comer on March 6, 1980 in Vandalia and she survives.
Terry is also survived by three children, Terrence (Janiece) Comer Jr. of Castle Rock, Colorado, Jodie (David) Sauer of Columbus, and Thomas (Angela) Comer of Aurora, Colorado; three grandchildren, Amanda Fitzpatrick, Lily Comer, and John Ramey; also other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Maureen Ramey.
Terry was a graduate of Northridge High School, Class of 1964. He honorably served his country during the Vietnam Conflict in the United States Army. Terry worked for Delphi GM and retired after over 30 years of hard work and dedication. He was a big sports fan, and played basketball and baseball in High School and baseball was his biggest passion. Terry was an avid golfer and hunter up until very recently, and enjoyed bowling and playing cards. He was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Jack Nicklaus, and the Cincinnati Reds. Terry enjoyed the outdoors and, when they were younger, enjoyed taking motorcycle trips with Debbie. Family was very important to Terry, and he loved his children and grandchildren very much. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
