TAUYNA R. SNYDER

Tauyna R. Snyder, 60, of Piqua, passed away peacefully at 11:46 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Hospice of Miami County. She was born January 30, 1964 in Piqua to the late Herman Highley and Sandra (Burnside) Smith. She married Howard S. Snyder May 11, 1985 in Piqua; and he survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Tabbatha Snyder of Troy, Tiffany (Wes Vollmar) Snyder of Vandalia; three grandchildren, Trevor (Sara Draving) Snyder, Trenton (Jaycee Lewis) Snyder, Traven Walker; one great grandchild, Myles, and expecting another great grandson soon; two brothers, Dean Highley of Sidney, David (Angie) Smith of Piqua; three aunts, Patricia Reedy of Piqua, Beverly (Gary) Slack of Casstown, Teresa Thompson of South Carolina; her very dear friends, Susie & Brian Harvey of Piqua, Dixie Barga of Florida; and numerous cousins and many friends.

Mrs. Snyder was a 1984 graduate of Piqua High School. She was a member of Piqua Christian Church. She was a lifelong animal lover and adored her fur-family; her dog Zoe, cat Lexi, cat Zoey, and cat Bosa. She enjoyed gardening and working on crafts. She loved to watch NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhart and Chase Elliott. She never missed her favorite soap operas, or the opportunity to watch her beloved San Francisco 49ers. She enjoyed traveling, attending concerts and spending time with her family and many friends. She will be deeply missed by many.

A service to honor her life will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2024 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Animal Shelter 1110 N. County Rd. 25A, Troy, OH 45373.
