SUSAN K. SMITH

Susan K. Smith, 78, of Piqua, passed away peacefully at 9:55 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Stillwater Skilled Care surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 19, 1947 in Troy to the late Ralph Coppock and Evelyn (Lawson) Wilhelm.

Survivors include a son, Brian (Tiffanee Foos) Smith of Houston; five grandchildren, Kara (Codey) Dillon, Scott Smith, Tristin (Jacob) Carney, Alex Foos, Tatiana Foos; and four great grandchildren, Emersyn, Walker, Waylon, and Dean. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Ronald Wilhelm.

Mrs. Smith was a 1965 graduate of Piqua Central High School. She worked as a server for many years at the Spot Restaurant. She enjoyed her Saturday shopping trips and looked forward to any opportunity she had to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

A private graveside service to honor her life will be held at Beechwood Cemetery, Lockington. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity in Susan’s memory.
