STEWART R. JAMISON

Stewart R. Jamison, 91 of Piqua, passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 29, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 31, 1930 in Tipp City to the late Stewart and Mary (Alexander) Jamison.

Stewart is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Dorothy (Willcox) Jamison; his children, Stewart (Laura) Jamison of Florida, Mike (Paulette) Jamison of Covington, Debbie Flaute of Piqua, Robin (Doug) Reed of Piqua, Lori Weidner of Piqua, Jesse (Laurie) Jamison of Florida, Cassie Jamison of West Mansfield, and Robert Jamison of Piqua; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren; also many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister in law, Jerry (June) Jamison; and his son in law, Leo Flaute.

Stewart proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was twice wounded and awarded the Purple Heart.

A service to honor his life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Stewart Jamison officiating. Burial will follow the service at Forest Hill Cemetery with full military honors being provided by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, 3230 N.
