Steven A. Langston, 62, of Piqua, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 17, 2024. He was born July 26, 1962 in Piqua to the late Wayne and Waltraud (Wendling) Langston. He married Lisa (Moyer) Langston December 28, 2005 in Troy, and she survives.
Other survivors include six children, Gary Langston, Jessica (Mark) Weigel, Justin Landers, Jennifer (Braydon) Stover all of Piqua, Jason (Taylor) Landers of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Jeremy (Jenna) Landers of Troy; sixteen grandchildren; and one great granddaughter; two brothers, Fred Langston and Rick (Alecia) Langston all of Piqua; his sister in law, Connie Young of Piqua; and his brother in law, James (Karen) Moyer of Piqua; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Steve was a graduate of Piqua High School and the Joint Vocational School, Class of 1980. He worked as a Tool & Die Maker at Progress in Minster for over 25 years. Steve could fix about anything and was a regular at Home Depot, Menards, and Ace Hardware. He enjoyed riding his E-Bike, going fishing, gardening and watching the Cincinnati Bengals. Steve had a dry humor, but loved to joke around and poke fun at family and friends. Family was very important to Steve, and he loved to be Grandpa and spend time with the kids and grandkids. He will truly be missed by all who loved him.
A gathering of family and friends to honor Steve's life will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
