Sharon Kay Bowman, 84, of Piqua, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. She was born October 23, 1940 in Piqua to the late Paul R. and Mildred (Pryfogle) Manning. She married Robert R. Bowman Sr. on March 25, 1961 in Piqua, and he preceded her in death on April 1, 2012.

Sharon is survived by four children, Tamara (Gregory) Ganger of Houston, OH, Lisa (Rev. Mark) Koch of Naples, FL, Robert (Sheila) Bowman Jr. of Piqua, and Jeffery Bowman of Casa Grande, AZ; 11 grandchildren, Ashlee (Shaun) Zimpfer, Alisha (Curtis) Schroeder, Mark Anthony (Shannon) Koch, Allison (Dr. Lukas) Mathews, Emily (Christian) Bell, Natalie (Michael) Murphy, Andrew (Jennifer) Bowman, Bethany (Peter) Miller, Tyler Bowman, Courtney (Jeffrey) Williamson, and Christian Bowman; 24 great-grandchildren; one sister, Leota (Bill) Penny of Bradford, OH; two sisters in law, Connie Manning of Piqua, and Delores (John) Fields of Georgetown, KY; also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by seven brothers, David (Tom), Doyle, Robert, Paul (Ed), Hershel (Dick), Jack, and Bill Manning.

Sharon loved the Lord. She was a loving wife, an incredible mother, and an adoring grandmother. Sharon was the deeply loved “family favorite”, a beautiful and rare treasure whose presence will be dearly missed by those who knew her as “Mom”, “Grandma”, “Mamaw”, and “Gigi”. Sharon immensely loved her family. She enjoyed many summers with her family camping, riding with her husband on his motorcycle, traveling, time spent with friends, Gospel music, and card games. She was selfless, kind, joy-filled, and tenderhearted. She had a great sense of humor, and a contagious laugh. Sharon was a member of Piqua Church of the Nazarene.
