Ronald D. Kloecker, 74, of Piqua, died at 11:38 a.m. Sunday, October 23, 2022 in his home. He was born August 5, 1948 in Piqua to the late John E. and Dorothy A. (Parin) Kloecker.
Survivors include four children, Stacey (Troy) Anthony of Tipp City, Scott (Jana) Kloecker of Clarksville, Indiana, Gary Kloecker of Piqua, Michael (Piyaphat "Patty") Kloecker of Covington; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, James "Jim" Kloecker.
Mr. Kloecker was a 1968 graduate of Piqua Central High School. He served the Piqua community as a firefighter for 25 years before his retirement in 1999; where he was also a member of their dive team. During his time as a firefighter and following his retirement, he was also the co-owner of Johnny's Service where he focused on appliance repair. Ron enjoyed traveling, train watching and following his grandson's go-kart races. He also enjoyed scuba diving and used his experience to educate others as a certified scuba instructor. He will be deeply missed by many.
A graveside service to honor his life will begin at 2:30 p.m. Monday, October 31, 2022 at Miami Memorial Park, Covington with Rev. Dr. Keith A. Gebhart officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Monday at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Piqua Ambulance Fund, P.O.
