Rona Lee Clark, 74, of Huber Heights, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 11, 2024 at her home. She was born February 14, 1950 in Piqua to the late Thelma (Hughes) Waugh. She married Johnny Clark Sr. who preceded her in death on October 8, 2007.
Survivors include three siblings, Rickey, Shelli, and Stacey Smith all of San Leandro, California; three cousins, Theresa Clemons, Andrea Walker, and Denise Boring; one nephew, Tyson Poore; one niece, Erin Youngblood Smith; one great niece, Destiny Poore; one great nephew, Nicholas Poore; four great great nieces and one great great nephew; also numerous other relatives and many precious friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Steven and Nicholas Smith.
Rona was a graduate of Piqua Central High School, Class of 1970. She was previously a faithful member of Cyrene AME Church in Piqua and Ginghamsburg Church in Tipp City. Rona was a hard worker and worked for Reynolds and Reynolds for 38 years and happily retired. Rona loved going shopping and was an avid reader. She cherished her family and friends and loved to spend time with all of them. She will truly be missed by all who loved her.
A graveside service to celebrate Rona's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Forest Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center.
