Rolando Mederos, 42, of Piqua, passed away at 2:32 a.m. Sunday, April 5, 2026 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was born August 10, 1983 in Belle Glade, Florida to Rodolfo Mederos of Mexico and Deborah Wynn of Piqua. He married Kisha (Heisey) Mederos August 12, 2006 in Versailles, and she survives.
Survivors include sister, Maria Mederos of Reynoldsburg; brother, Rodolfo Mederos Jr. of Piqua; maternal grandmother, Ina Wynn; three uncles, Mike (Theresa) Wynn, Wendell (Rachael) Wynn, Gregg Wynn; five nieces, Bree Bennett, Alauna Mederos, Alyssa Mederos, Jakyah Heatherly, Isabella McMillan; nephew, Shelby McMillan; great-niece, Scarlett; mother in law, Carol Lynn Tipton; step father in law, Terry Tipton; cousin, Kevin Wynn; father in law, Steven Heisey; good friend Eric Minnich; two dogs, Ernie, Birdie Mae. Rolando was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Robert Wynn.
Rolando was Bradford High School alum of the class of 2003. He was formerly employed as a Glazier for Bridge Street Glass. Rolando liked to fish, hike and cook in his spare time. He loved to hold cook outs with his family and friends. His favorite teams to cheer for was the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Dallas Cowboys. Rolando enjoyed listening to music, especially the hard rock band, Pantera.
A service to honor his life will begin at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Keith Gebhart officiating. Burial will be held with private services at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
