Robin Sue Murphy, 59, of Piqua, passed away unexpectedly at 9:26 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born July 28, 1962 in Clinton, Iowa to the late James E. Murphy and Betty Lou (Little) Murphy; and she survives.
Other survivors include a sister, Cindy (John) Koeper of Charleston, South Carolina; a brother, Keith (Terri) Murphy of Troy; her nieces and nephews, Jeff (Christina) McMaken, Jamie McMaken, Trey Koeper, Amanda Dalton; great nieces and nephews, Dustyn, Hayleigh, Isaac, Audrey, Katie, Savannah, Gavin; and many aunts and uncles.
Miss Murphy was a 1981 graduate of Piqua High School. She worked for over thirty years as a nurse’s aid at Piqua Manor Nursing Home and Garbry Ridge Assisted Living before working as a dietician for Garbry Ridge Assisted Living. She enjoyed crocheting, watching television programs and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews who were deeply special to her. She was a very kind soul who absolutely loved her job and caring for her patients.
A service to honor her life will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Kris Geise officiating. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to one’s favorite charity in Robin’s name.
