Robert "Rick" Roller, 85, of Piqua more recently of Fletcher, passed away at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Ayden Healthcare of Piqua. He was born January 8, 1937 in Troy to the late Robert and Mabel (Mertz) Roller. He married Dalphine R. Reynolds November 12, 1971 in Troy; and she survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Tina Marie Watren of Tennessee, Toni Lynn Fellers of Piqua; two step-children, Chet (Julie) Smith of Troy, Lisha (Les) Lammers of Missouri; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; a brother, Steve (Janet) Roller of Texas; and a sister, Suzanne Roller of Texas.
Mr. Roller was a 1955 graduate of Piqua Central High School. He went on to earn his Bachelors Degree in Engineering. He served proudly in the United States Air Force. He was a former member of Greene Street United Methodist Church and a current member of Fletcher United Methodist Church. He worked for over 19 years as a home inspector and was the owner and operator of Roller Inspections, LLC; a job that he truly loved and where he spent the majority of his time. He was a member of the Free & Accepted Masons in Duluth County in Florida. Additionally, he enjoyed his time participating in the Men's Sunday School group at Greene Street United Methodist Church.
A private service to honor his life will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fletcher United Methodist Church 205 S. Walnut St. Fletcher, OH 45326 or Greene Street United Methodist Church 415 W.
