Richard Lee Null, 74, of Bradford, passed away at 12:12 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 at Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born August 13, 1946 to the late Edward C. and Rubena (Reightler) Null.

He is survived by a loved and loving wife, Loretta (McCauley) Null; siblings, Allen (Georgie) Miller, Harry (Sharon) Miller, Gerald “Bud” Miller, Robert (Missy) Miller, Scott (Elaine) Null, Tina (Michael) Capik, Cindy (Dwan) Snyder, Janet Null, Kevin (Debbie) Null, Wendy (David) Miller, Linda (Harry) Raudenbush and Todd Null; his children, Geoffry Null, Tracy (Kevin) Mortland, Kristy (Jeremy) Petoskey, Don (Jhalene) Hartel, Bridgett (Jason) Tillman, Craig “JR” (Stephanie) Norris, Matthew (Shauntee) Null, Michael (Julie) Null, Brandon Null and Honorary Son, Todd (Mandy) Pottorf; 32 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren that were all loved and adored. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian E. Null, infant son, David Truman Null, and his daughter Christina (Null) Wright.

If you were fortunate enough to have known Richard he was someone that you didn’t need to know for a long time to befriend him. You felt you knew him your whole life. He was a loving family man. His wife of 22 years knew she was cherished and loved with his whole heart. They never said good-bye but always said see you later knowing they would be with the Lord and would wait for the other. He was a loving Father and Grandfather and made the girls feel their worth and the boys knew they had a great example. Richard also adored all of his siblings. He was baptized at 70 years old and praised the Lord always. He lived hard and strong but his heart was as soft as cotton. He was a strong believer, an avid fisherman, collected baseball memorabilia, cared for all animals, enjoyed games of all kinds and was a champion billiards player.

A service to honor his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday June 18, 2021 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Brother Steve Elliott officiating; military honors will be provided by the U.S. Navy and the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. Following the service a meal will be served at Richard’s Church, Union Baptist Church, 1833 E. Peterson Rd. Troy, OH 45373.
