RICHARD A. KISER

Richard A. Kiser, 83, of Piqua, passed away at 6:20 a.m. Monday, November 25, 2024 in the comfort of his home with his wife and grandson, Dustin by his side. He was born November 22, 1941 in Piqua to the late George and Mary (Hague) Kiser. He married Martha “Jean” Richardson September 3, 1966 in Piqua; a union that would span 58 years, and she survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Nita McGreevy, Rita Kiser, Kathy (Gary) Ganger, all of Piqua; ten grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lee Kiser, Marion Kiser; a son, Richard Kiser; and a daughter, Tanya Kiser.

Mr. Kiser worked for Val Decker for over 27 years, drove a school bus for 37 years and worked as the mechanic for Bayman Auto Sales for many years. He was a simple man who lived a simple life. He was an avid racing fan and built and maintained various race cars over the years. He enjoyed racing his special built drag car. He carried on his racing tradition with his grandson and loved to help repair and maintain his grandson’s race car. He adored his family and cherished all the time he was able to spend with his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private service to honor his life will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
