Regina L. Alexander, 92 of Piqua passed away at 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2022 at Piqua Manor. She was born May 8, 1930 in Piqua to the late Wilsey and Mabel (Millhouse) Hildebrand. She married Paul “Dick” Wagner, Ernest Cromes, and Warnie Alexander and they all preceded her in death.
Survivors include two children, Paul “Ed” Wagner, and Tambra “Tammy” Turner both of Piqua; three grandchildren, David (Aubrey) Turner, Aaron (Denise) Turner, and Christopher (Courtney) Turner; five great grandchildren, Alyssa, Kylie, Cailyn, Zachary, and River. As well as her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Thomas Hildebrand and Marilyn “Sue” Elliott; and her son in law, Dewayne Turner.
Mrs. Alexander was a graduate of Piqua Central High School and worked various positions with Pioneer Rural Electric, and retired as the Billing Department Supervisor with over 20 years of service. Regina was a longtime member of St. Paul Evangelical Church, and sang in the choir and was the head of the noodle making for the famous Chicken and Noodles at the church’s booth at the Heritage Festival. She was a wonderful piano player, and in her free time she enjoyed playing cards with friends, going on fishing trips with her husband Dick, and she also liked to cross stitch. Regina enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and those who loved her will miss her dearly.
A service to honor her life will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery. Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
