Randy Alan Nead, I, 73, of Piqua, passed away peacefully at 1:15 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Troy Care & Rehabilitation. He was born February 23, 1953 in Piqua to the late Harry V. and Jean M. (Haney) Nead.
Survivors include three sons, Randy A. Nead, II of Hernando County, Florida, Chad Nead of New Port Richey, Florida, Todd (Kim) Nead of Royal Palm Beach, Florida; four grandchildren, Kaylee, Carson, Lola, Bodhi; a brother, Gregg Nead of Piqua; and two sisters, Debbie (Jeff) Chaney of Piqua, and Vicki (Mike) Toupin of Vero Beach, Florida.
Mr. Nead was a proud graduate of Piqua Central High School and went on to achieve the distinction of Master Electrician. He dedicated many years to operating his own business, Nead Electric, Inc., a pursuit he truly enjoyed. Outside of his work, he was an avid golfer who also found pleasure in bowling and fishing. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends.
A graveside service to honor his life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Miami Memorial Park, Covington with Pastor Jon Keller officiating. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
