PRISCILLA MOYER Obituary

Priscilla L. Moyer, 82, of Piqua, passed away at 1:17 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2024 at Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born October 12, 1941 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Andrew and Sarah Johnson. She married William L. "Bill" Moyer, Jr. October 17, 1959 in Piqua, and he preceded her in death July 8, 2015.

Priscilla is survived by three children, Connie Young, Lisa (Steve) Langston, and James (Karen) Moyer, all of Piqua; nine grandchildren, Jessica Jones, Bobbie Lallemand, Justin Landers, Jason Landers, Jeremy (Jenna) Landers, Jennifer (Braydon) Stover, James Moyer Jr., Jonathan Moyer, and Andrew Moyer; 16 great grandchildren; her sister in law, Sonnie Johnson of Denver, Colorado; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Tiffany Moyer, and Joseph Young; and two brothers, Jesse Johnson and Kenneth (Rose) Johnson.

Priscilla was a graduate of Piqua Central High School, Class of 1959. She retired from Sunoco Products after 30 years of hardwork and service. Following retirement, she worked at Evenflo for six years and Integrity Cleaning Services for ten years. She formerly was a member of the Troy Moose Lodge, and enjoyed gardening, gambling, camping, and was an avid reader. Priscilla enjoyed keeping up to date on everyone's current affairs and enjoyed spending time with friends and family relaxing on her back porch. She was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother and was loved by all.

Private services to honor Priscilla's life will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Miami Memorial Park in Covington. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
