Peggy J. Drennan, 91, of Piqua passed away at 9:34 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Koester Pavilion. She was born July 3, 1930 in Fletcher to the late Ernest Christopher and Edythe Marie (Knoop) Wiltheis.
Survivors include a daughter, Pamela Coppock of Piqua; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren. She was from a family of fourteen siblings; all have preceded her in death with exception of her sister, Edythe Carla VanHoogen of Boise, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Gene and Greg Drennan; and two sisters.
Her love for her children knew no boundaries. She loved them unconditionally and fervently prayed for their well being and salvation. She lived for and showed love for her children- to her first born Pamela and her sons Gene and Greg. Peggy had a heart for Christ and her family and wanted nothing more than for all of her children and grandchildren to know the Lord. How fitting that Peggy would go to be with the Lord on 3:16. Peggy was a saving grace for her three oldest grandchildren during a time when they needed her most and continued to be there for all of her grandchildren. A special thank you to the nurses and nurses’ aides of Koester Pavilion and Hospice of Miami County.
A celebration to honor her life will be held by her family on her birthday this summer. Burial will take place at Fletcher Cemetery. Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, 3230 N. County Rd. 25-A, Troy OH 45373. Guestbook condolences and expressions of sympathy, to be provided to the family, may be expressed through jamiesonandyannucci.com.
