PATRICIA L. STAUDT

Patricia L. Staudt, 81, of Piqua, passed away at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Hospice of Miami County. She was born October 6, 1939 in Tipp City to the late Lloyd and Flora (Williams) Briggs. She married Robert D. Staudt on May 24, 1958 in Covington; he preceded her in death December 23, 2004.

Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Doug (Connie) Staudt of Piqua, Mike (Celeste) Staudt of Piqua, Bill (Dawn) Staudt of Old Hickory, Tennessee, Jeff (Beverly) Staudt of Tipp City; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren, and two sisters, Connie (John) Heater of Piqua; and Judy Briggs-Morton-Smith of Springfield. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Briggs, John Briggs; and three sisters, Phyllis Briggs-Williams, Betty Briggs, Joann Briggs-Houshel.

Mrs. Staudt was a 1957 graduate of Piqua Central High School. She worked for over twenty-five years before her retirement as an administrative assistant for the Ohio State Highway Patrol. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting and reading. She will be deeply missed by her loving family.

A graveside service to honor her life will begin at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Miami Memorial Park, Covington with Chaplain Ed Ellis officiating.
