Patricia J. Snider, 87, of Piqua, passed away peacefully at 11:18 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in the comfort of her home. She was born July 3, 1934 in Covington, Kentucky to the late George W. Kinney and Hazel L. (Jenkins) Mittler. She married Jack B. Snider July 29, 1978 in Covington; and he preceded her in death February 16, 2011.
Survivors include three daughters, Pam (Scott Ridenour) Campbell of Piqua, Susan (Larry) Spitzmiller of Lexington, Kentucky, Vickie Evilsizor of Piqua; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Lee of Katy, Texas; three stepdaughters, Christine (Dave) Blosser of Lakeview, Beverly Snider of Troy, Annette (Steve) Wesco of Covington; sixteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by one sister, Georgia (Bob) Booher; and one son, Robert M. Lee.
Mrs. Snider worked for many years as a waitress for various restaurants over the years. She also worked for Polk Advertising Sales and as a Lunch Aid in the school cafeteria for Manatee County Schools in Florida. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3615 in Indian Lake and Aerie 2756 in Sarasota, Florida; the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1533 in Indian Lake; as well as the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 2792 in Russells Point. She enjoyed reading, working crafts and traveling. In her younger years, she was an avid bowler. She loved the years she lived in Florida. Mostly, she loved her family and adored her children and grandchildren and looked forward to spending time together.
A service to honor her life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, St. Paris. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
