Patricia A. Miller, 83, of Piqua, passed away peacefully at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, July 20, 2023 in the comfort of her home. She was born March 4, 1940 in Troy to the late Ralph W. and Edna (Chronaberry) Kiser. She married Charles G. Miller, and he preceded her in death March 26, 1998.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Wessel of Piqua, Cheryl (Bill) Kiefer of Celina; ten grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; and a brother, James Kiser of Casstown. She was preceded in death by multiple brothers and sisters; and a son, Douglas Miller.
Mrs. Miller worked for many years at the Upper Valley Medical Center in their Laundromat before her retirement. She enjoyed creating various decorations, gifts and mementos through the use to plastic canvas. She was an avid reader and enjoyed encouraging others to read, especially her grandchildren, by involving them in the Summer Reading Program at the library. Additionally, she enjoyed working puzzles whenever she could. Most importantly, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
A private service to honor her life will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
