Pamela S. Williamson, 64, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Piqua, went to be with the Lord at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born September 5, 1958 in Troy to Carolyn (Wright) Zorn of Piqua and the late Robert B. Zorn. She married Jack C. Williamson in July of 2018 in Tampa; and he survives.
Other survivors include her daughter and best friend, Brittany (Jed) Dyer; her twin grandbabies, Jolee, Jed, Jr.; four sisters, Marty (Dean) Nevin, Jetta (Andy) Lavey, Roberta Zorn all of Piqua, Mary (Mike) Williamson of Bemidji, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon (Harvey) Noble; her Irish Twin whom she was very close with.
Pam was a 1976 graduate of Piqua Central High School. She was most recently employed as a cashier for Walmart for many years prior to her illness. She moved to Tampa in 1992 and worked various jobs over the years to remain self sufficient. She was an avid Tampa Buccaneer fan. She loved her family and cherished the opportunity to come home and visit with them whenever she could. She will be remembered for her kindness and fun-loving attitude throughout her life. She will be deeply missed.
A service to honor her life will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2023 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Yingst officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
