NORMAN L. WALLACE JR.

Norman L. Wallace Jr., 82, of Piqua, passed away at 7:00 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 at Hospice of Miami County. He was born September 9, 1939 in Springfield to the late Norman L. and Helen Marie (Sallee) Wallace Sr. He married Judith Vanatta August 10, 1961 in Piqua; she preceded him in death November 23, 2020.

Survivors include two sons, John N. (Sherry Curtis) Wallace of Piqua, Joseph M. (Jerry Barbieri) Wallace of Cincinnati; and a sister, Joyce (Paul) Staley of Piqua.

Mr. Wallace was a 1959 graduate of Piqua Central High School and retired in 2001 from the Aerovent Fan Company. Additionally, he worked as a Courier for the Mutual Federal Savings Bank. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and Benevolent & Protective Order of the Elks Lodge #523. He and his wife enjoyed spending time at the Kozy Kampground at Grand Lake St. Mary’s. He will be remembered for being a good husband, wonderful Dad, accomplished fisherman and an avid fan of Ohio State football and the Cincinnati Reds.

A graveside service to honor his life will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Forest Hill Cemetery. His family is being served through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Norm’s name are suggested to Hospice of Miami County, Inc., 3230 N. County Rd. 25-A, Troy, OH 45373 or ones favorite charity.
