NORA F. HOUSER

Nora F. Houser, 92, of Piqua passed away at 5:56 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2022 at Kettering Hospital of Piqua. She was born June 24, 1930 in Nelsonville to the late Pearle and Ethel May (Norman) Withem Sr. She married William N. "Bill" Houser Sr. on March 12, 1948 in Dayton and he preceded her in death June 21, 2017.

Survivors include two children, Cheryl Lynn (Robert) Weese of Kettering, William Houser Jr. of Piqua; two sisters, Edith Morris and Delores Walk; three grandchildren, Christina Hobbs, Roxanne Avila, and Tiffany Werkowitz; eight great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; also other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Chad Houser; and two brothers, Pearle Withem Jr., and Fred Withem.

Mrs. Houser worked for Medalist Allen-A Company for 16 years and retired in 1993. Nora enjoyed watching mystery movies, listening to her favorite music artists like Neil Diamond, Dean Martin and Elvis, and she cherished most all animals. Nora was a homebody, and looked forward to celebrating and cooking for the holidays with her family. She will truly be missed by all who loved her.

A service to honor her life will be held privately at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Animal Shelter 1110 N.
