MICHAEL PAUL BROWN

Michael Paul Brown, 74, of Piqua, passed away at 4:10 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Hospice of Miami County. He was born June 21, 1947 in Piqua to the late Paul and Mary (Soyster) Brown.

Survivors include seven children, Melissa Brown of Piqua, Kimberly (Donnie) Osborne of Piqua, Darlene Brown of Piqua, David (Peggy) Brown of Covington, Steven Brown of Piqua, Wanelle Brown of Piqua, Brian (Melissa) Brown of New Bremen; his sister, Helen Brown of Piqua; 14 grandchildren, Morgan Fairchild, Stephanie Osborne, Justin Osborne, Josh Osborne, Jessica Jenkins, Rocky Jenkins, Amanda (Zachary) Smith, Bradley Brown, Haley Brown, Steven Brown, Tyler Brown, Austin Menker, Bayleigh Brown and Myleigh Brown; eight great grandchildren, Kacen Osborne, Brock Osborne, Maddox Osborne, Alexis, Carter, Asher, and Aria Jenkins, Paisley and Amelia Smith; also many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ethel and Harley Soyster; and his brother David Brown of Ripley, Ohio.

Michael was a graduate of Piqua Central High School Class of 1965. He worked at French Oil for about 28 years alongside his dad and brother, and he retired in 1991. In his spare time, Michael enjoyed working on cars, riding around on his golf cart and listening to his favorite band, AC/DC. He enjoyed taking care of his vegetable garden, and was meticulous about the landscaping at his home, and would spend hours to make it perfect. Michael was always self sufficient and never asked for help, but was always quick to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He loved to spend time with his family and was the best Dad, Grandpa and friend, and he will truly be missed.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home is assisting the family.
