Michael Lee Anthony, 63, formerly of Bradford and Piqua, passed away at 9:14 a.m., Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital due to a recent illness. He was born August 6, 1960 at Dettmer Hospital in Troy to the late Ernest L. and Betty M. (York) Anthony. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest C., and his sister, Barbara J.
He is survived by his loving family, Patricia, Richard, Missie, Keith, Heather, Larry, Sherri, Sandi, Ron, Michelle, Bonnie, Sharon, Mitch, Ardi, Stacy, Dylan, Brooke, and Rowboat; also several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mikey enjoyed demolition derbies, cars, video games, tinkering, gadgets, music and especially Elvis, and he loved to eat. Mikey enjoyed going to the Bradford Pumpkin Show, the Darke and Miami County Fairs, and loved to find steals and deals antiquing and going to garage sales. May God grant Mikey Eternal Rest.
A graveside service to honor Mikey's life will be held at 11:45 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2024 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Bishop Brian T. Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. The family has requested no flowers to be sent, in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to any local animal rescue or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
