MARK D. WILTSHIRE

Mark D. Wiltshire, 56, of Piqua, passed away peacefully at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Hospice of Miami County. He was born December 8, 1968 in Euclid to David J. & Deb Wiltshire of Plymouth, Michigan and Georgette (Lederman) & Tom Getz of the Villages, Florida. He married Teresa S. Carter November 1, 2008 in Casstown; and she survives.

Other survivors include a stepdaughter, Amy (Justin) Lightner of Troy; three grandchildren, Paxton Hershey, Joe Curtis, Hailey Lightner; a brother, Eric (Malina) Wiltshire of Sylvania; a sister, Lara (Nathan) Ray of New Albany; two nephews, Brennen Wiltshire, William Wiltshire; two nieces, Lily Wiltshire, Chloe Ray; and his beloved dog, Roxy.

Mr. Wiltshire was a 1988 graduate of Piqua High School and attended Edison State as well as Bowling Green State University. He worked for Orr Felt for 26 years before working as the custodian at Piqua Central Intermediate School; a position he absolutely loved. He looked forward to the new school year every year and loved interacting with the kids and faculty. He was a member of the American Legion Post 184 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Piqua before its closure. He loved sports and closely followed the Cleveland Guardians, Ohio State Buckeyes, and his beloved Cleveland Browns. Additionally, he enjoyed watching programs on The History Channel and enjoyed watching older television shows on MeTV.

A service to honor his life will begin at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Will Leasure officiating. Private burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
