MARILYN J. PRICE

Marilyn J. Price, 89, of Piqua, passed away peacefully at 10:37 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Hospice of Miami County. She was born June 13, 1934 in Piqua to the late Marion and Thelma (Roegner) Lyons. She married Warren O. Price, Jr., and he preceded her in death October 2, 2015.

Survivors include two sons, Richard (Josephine) Price of Piqua, Walter (Runi) Price of Hawaii; a daughter, Kimberly LaPorte of Connecticut; two grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Mrs. Price earned her Associates Degree in secretarial skills while living in Vermont. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and also attended Mass at St. Boniface Catholic Church. She was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2024 at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Isaiah Callan as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Thursday at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Vigil Prayers beginning at 3:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fr. Angelo Caserta Tuition Assistance Fund or the Fr. Thomas J. Grilliot Scholarship Fund, both at 310 S. Downing St. Piqua, OH 45356.
