LYNN J. DAVIDSON

Lynn J. Davidson, 71, of Piqua, passed away peacefully at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, March 24, 2024 in the comfort of her home. She was born September 7, 1952 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Jessie Simpson and the late Jeanie (McCaskill) Andrews. She married James A. Davidson June 23, 1995 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee; and he survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Matt McBride of Rosewood, Nick (Mandy) Davidson of Piqua; two daughters, Amber Davidson of Sidney, Tamara (T.J.) Turner of Sidney; three grandchildren, Rachel McBride, Cameron Davidson, Colin Davidson; and two brothers, Rick Simpson of Mississippi, and Jim Simpson of California.

Mrs. Davidson was a 1970 graduate of Promota High School in California. She worked for many years in the Shipping and Receiving Department for Lowe’s Home Improvement. She was an avid fan of General Hospital, and never missed an episode; so much so, that if she had to be out, she would be sure to record the episode. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing for her larger holiday dinners. She was also a fan of NASCAR, especially Jimmy Johnson, and any driver in front of Kyle Busch. She will be deeply missed by her loving family.

A private service to honor her life will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
