LORRETTA LOUISE BIGGS

Loretta Louise Biggs, 62, of Miami County, passed away unexpectedly due to a motor vehicle accident Tuesday, June 2, 2026 in Greenville. She was born June 24, 1963 in Piqua to the late Robert and Susan (McClelland) Souders. 

Survivors include her three children, Marcus Biggs of Louisville, Kentucky, Chantay Biggs of Troy, Ohio, Lillian (Marcus) Gunter of Union City, Indiana; two grandchildren, Penelope Rose, Oliver Baloo Marcus Gunter; three sisters, Lynnetta Souders of Miami County, Mona Taylor of Casstown, Christie Mckinster-Maynard Adams of Frederick, Maryland; two nephews, Joshua (Brittany) Souders of Piqua, Dylan (Chelsea) Taylor of Casstown. She is preceded in death by nephew, Dusty Taylor. 

Lorretta was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and a loving member of every community she was a part of. She never knew a stranger and could always relate to anyone. She was a proud Veteran, college graduate, and world class cook. She was a sharp shooter and was decorated with a marksman badge of honor in the United States Army. Lorretta was a woman of God and believed in showing the love of Christ to everyone. Her happiness was found in spending time with family and loved ones and taking care of others. 

A service to honor her life will begin at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Chaplain Rebecca Sousek as Celebrant. Full military honors will follow at Miami Memorial Park provided by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
