LAWRENCE "JOE" J. MARCHAL

Lawrence "Joe" Marchal, 82, of Sidney, passed away at 11:20 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2026 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born February 26, 1944 in Sidney to the late Norbert and Evelyn (Perin) Marchal.

Joe is survived by one brother and one sister; and his sister in law; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army. Previously he worked for Bessie Forest Products and Street Produce Market. In his free time, Joe loved to go fishing and arrowhead hunting, and was incredibly lucky on his scratch-off lottery tickets. He enjoyed a simple life, often listening to his classic country favorites like Merle Haggard and visiting with his friends.
