LAVERN LAWSON Obituary

LaVern Lawson, 75 of Ludlow Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at her residence. She was born on May 8, 1949 in Piqua to the late Bert Nelson Huffman and Ruth Ilene (Keiser) Bucklew. She married Frank Lawson on September 2, 1967 in West Milton and he survives.

Other survivors include four children, Opal (Galen) Arnett, Karen Roblero, James (Heather) Lawson and Mike (Krista) Lawson; sixteen grandchildren, Cameron, Sara, Sean, Megan, Galen Jr., Tammi, Albert, James, Brooke, Katelynn, Brianna, Chyanne, Michalle, Jeremiah Jr., Harley and Autumn; forty two great-grandchildren and five siblings, Harriet Marie Huffman, Theodore Nathaniel (Veronica) Huffman, Theodora Ann Stephens, Bruce Allen (Shawnee) Huffman and aunt "sister" Theresa Slife and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by stepfather, Deuane Bucklew, four siblings, Leroy Huffman, Barbara Jo (Huffman) Kohler, Terry Lee Huffman and Tanya Christina (Huffman) Hall and grandson, Zacharia Swartz.

LaVern retired after 17 years working for Emerson Manufacturing as a production worker. She was a 4 H advisor. LaVern enjoyed fishing, camping and bowling. She would sew and crochet in her free time. LaVern especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was of the Christian faith.

A private service to honor LaVern's life will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
