KEITH ROEGNER
Keith Roegner, 69, of Piqua, passed away at 9:13 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the Miami County Hospice Inpatient Unit of UVMC. He was born May 1, 1952 in Sidney to the late Noel and Evelyn (Smith) Roegner. He married Catherine "Cookie" (Livesay) Roegner April 28, 1979 in Piqua and she preceded him in death on April 16, 2020.
Survivors include a daughter, Duana (Tracy) Roegner; three sons, Michael Gephart, Dan (Stacy) Gephart, Jeff (Carmen) Gephart; three sisters, Nina (Tom) Kies, Annie Roegner, and Tish McFarlane; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Keith was a graduate of Houston High School Class of 1970, he held various records and was an all-star on the basketball team. He had worked as an over the road trucker and retired from the YMCA. Keith was the baseball coach for all of the kids, and was an avid Ohio sports fan- especially the Ohio State Buckeyes. Most of all Keith was a wonderful Dad and Grandpa.
A special time to honor his life will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, PO Box 502, Troy, OH 45373.
