KATHLEEN R. MEIRING

Kathleen R. Meiring, 66 of Sidney, passed away peacefully in her sleep at 2:25 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Sidney Care Center. She was born August 1, 1955 in Sidney to the late Charles F. and Ruth Ione (Bixler) Meiring.

Kathleen leaves to mourn her, her nine siblings, Rose Grooms of Greenville, Kenneth (Sherri) Meiring of Piqua, Rita Booher of Piqua, Edna (Ralph) Ward of Piqua, Fredrick (Cheryl) Meiring of Sidney, Charles (Marcie) Meiring of St. Marys, Loretta Golden of Sidney, Clarence (Tresa) Meiring of Sidney, and Erma (Tom) Gregory of Sidney; She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her older brother, James Meiring.

Kathleen was a 1975 graduate of Miami East High School. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church of Piqua. Kathleen was a sweet and loveable person, and in recent years cherished her time with her youngest sister Erma and her family. She had a soft, kind heart, always willing to take in stray cats that she found at her door and gave them a good home. The family will miss Kathleen dearly, but are grateful for the time spent with her. Her presence will always be felt in our hearts. "The only things you will take with you when you leave this world, are the ones that are dear to your heart."

A graveside service to honor her life will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2021 at Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Nicholas Lee officiating.
