KARLETA D. BROWN

Karleta D. Brown, 56, of Piqua, passed away unexpectedly at 5:31 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024 in her home. She was born March 13, 1968 in Piqua to Sandra (Bowdry) Brown of Piqua and the late Philip L. Brown.

Along with her mother, she is also survived by a sister, Hope (Mike Begley) Homan of Troy; a nephew, Jordan Brown of Troy; and several other nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, David Brown.

Karleta was a 1986 graduate of Piqua High School. She worked as a hairdresser for The Undercut in Urbana as well as a Team Lead and Union Steward at Navistar. She loved to be near the water, especially at the Lockington Dam and reservoir where she enjoyed spending her time fishing. Additionally, she was a lover of animals, especially her beloved pets. She will be deeply missed.

A private service to honor her life will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
