KAREN M. HUDSON

Karen M. Hudson, 75, of Piqua, passed away at 1:27 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Piqua Manor. She was born March 4, 1950 to the late Dale E. Karn Sr. and Verda M. (Popp) Karn. On June 9, 1979, Karen married Richard D. Hudson Sr., who preceded her in death October 1, 2010.

Survivors include two brothers, Dale E. (Mary Jane) Karn Jr. of Piqua and Thomas L. (Joyce) Karn of Sidney; a daughter, Rose Marie Rose; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Karen was preceded in death by three sons, Richard Hudson, Randy Hudson and Rocky Hudson; and sister, Barbara Landis.

Karen worked as an office clerk for Crane Pumps & Systems Inc. After she retired from Crane Pumps & Systems Inc., Karen would still go out to lunch with her past colleagues. She also volunteered her time with Upper Valley Medical Center. Karen enjoyed playing bingo and watching the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Browns. The family would like to give a special thanks to Day City Hospice, Brookdale and Piqua Manor for the care they provided to Karen.

A funeral service to honor her life will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday May 27, 2025 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park.
