JUNE A. JENKINS

June A. Jenkins, 90, of Piqua, passed away January 7, 2026 at the Piqua Manor.  She was born on September 18, 1935, in Piqua, to the late Edward R. and Clarabelle (Revolt) Meiring Sr. She married Thomas Jenkins January 16, 1987 in Piqua and he survives.

Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca S. (Robert)  Sousek of Piqua, Rhonda Gomez of Mesa, Arizona; three grandchildren, Kenny (Amanda) Jenkins, Raquel Sholley, Roxanne Martinez and two sisters, Rosalie Young of Piqua; Ruth Sorensen of Versailles. June was preceded in death by daughter, Robin Sholley and brother, Ted Meiring.

June retired working as a nurse aid for Piqua Manor. She was a 1953 graduate of Piqua Catholic and member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. June enjoyed game shows and watching her grandchildren extracurricular school activities.

A service to honor her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Piqua Compassion Network 329 W. Ash St PO Box 55 Piqua, OH 45356.
