Jo Ann Taylor, 75, of Piqua, passed away at 2:51 a.m. Friday, November 25, 2022 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born April 19, 1947 in Dayton to the late Wallace and Charlotte Wenclewicz. She married Jerry E. Taylor, a marriage that would span 55 years, and he preceded her in death September 15, 2015.
Survivors include a daughter, Robbie (Mike) Foster of Piqua; two grandchildren, Cameron Foster and Torri Jo Foster; two siblings, Stan (Betsy) Wenclewicz of Springfield, and Regina Wenclewicz of Beavercreek; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jeffrey W. Taylor; and her sister, Jennifer Wenclewicz.
Mrs. Taylor was a graduate of Belmont High School and Patterson Co Op Class of 1963 and had an Associate Degree in Accounting and a Bachelors Degree in Business. She was a longtime, faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She and her husband Jerry owned Knobby’s Smoke Shop for 17 years. Jo Ann loved living on the farm and tending to her garden and living the country lifestyle. Jo Ann was a member of the Piqua Garden Club, and also was a lover of all animals and worked with SICSA of Dayton for a time.
A service to honor her life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are being handled through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
