Jeremiah Augustus Micheal Ross, 30, of Piqua, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 24, 2023. He was born May 12, 1993 in Huntington, West Virginia to Kimberly (Kym) Ross-Miller of Piqua.
Jeremiah will be missed by his wife, Michelle (Halsell) Ross; seven children, Rosealynn, Remiah, Roman, Brayden (Courtney), Aleigh, Landyn, Adalynn; eight siblings, Keith Ross, RusSeana (Matthew) Baker, Michael (Allison) Miller Jr., Nakkya (Cole) Ross, Aleigha (Jake) Ross, Drake Ross, Jazzmine (Whiskey) Burns, and Johnny Hopkins; also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Marcus Ross.
Jeremiah was a graduate of Piqua High School, Class of 2010. He worked as a Machinist at Parker Lord Corporation in Dayton. He was the owner of Rose Customs, and did custom design and vehicle design work on the side. Jeremiah enjoyed working on cars in his free time, and always gravitated to anything with a motor; he loved riding motorcycles, dirt bikes, and ATVs. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, he liked to take the dogs on walks, take trips to the lake and going hunting. Jeremiah was also a big Cincinnati Bengals fan. Family was very important to Jeremiah, he coached wrestling and soccer at Piqua with his children, and also volunteered at their schools whenever he could. He loved to get the family together to show off his cooking skills, and he frequently hosted cook outs and family dinners. He will truly be missed by all who loved and knew him.
A service to honor Jeremiah's life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. John D. Scott officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, also at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to a fund to be set up for his children, or to the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation, 1225 Dublin Rd. Suite 125, Columbus, OH 43215. Monetary donations for Jeremiah’s final expenses may be made directly to the funeral home.
