JANET E. LANDERS

Janet E. Landers, 83, of Piqua, passed away at 7:40 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2024 at Hospice of Miami County. She was born August 9, 1940 in Piqua to the late Charles and Grace (Grosvenor) Carr.

Survivors include three sons, Scott (Joanne) Landers of Bluffton, Indiana, Mike (Jenny) Landers of Rosewood, and Kevin (Shelli) Landers of Greenville; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; also many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Landers; and three siblings, Susan Long, Hal Carr and Francis Carr.

Janet worked for many years at Hartzell Veneers and at Brownbridge and was a hard worker all of her life. In the past she liked to work outside in the yard, and was willing to help out anyone that needed a hand. Her life was taking care of her boys, and family was most important to her. She will be missed by all who loved her.

A private graveside service to honor her life will be held at the convenience of the family at Forest Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
