Janet A. Branam, 88, of Sidney, passed away peacefully at 12:50 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2024 at The Landings of Sidney. She was born January 27, 1936 in Sidney to the late Luther Finkenbine and Eva (Singer) Harp.
Survivors include three daughters, Deb (Roger) Gillum of Sidney, Donna (Ralph) Callahan of Houston, Darlene Seger of Sidney; one son, Ron (Mary) Branam of Piqua; twelve grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Finkenbine; a great granddaughter, Cassie; her stepfather, Don Harp; and two sons-in-law, Ben Seger, and Don Powers.
Janet worked as a lathe operator for the former Copeland Corporation for 32 years before she retired. She loved to work jigsaw puzzles as well as watch her favorite television programs, Friends, and Walker Texas Ranger. She was a strong-willed woman who raised her family with hardworking and strong convictions. She loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
A private graveside service to honor her life will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Sidney. Funeral arrangements are being provided to the family through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
