JAMES A. "JIM" RUSSELL

James A. "Jim" Russell, 76, of Piqua, passed away peacefully at 3:36 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2023 at Hospice of Miami County. He was born October 31, 1946 in Piqua to the late Robert and Luella (Schultz) Russell.

Jim is survived by one daughter, Barbara Devenport of Piqua; two grandchildren, Jessica (Stephen) Williams of Kentucky, and Aaron Devenport of Piqua; three great grandchildren; also many other relatives and friends.

Jim had done factory work over the years but always enjoyed working on cars for his friends and family. He loved his cats and enjoyed spending time at home and with his family. He will be missed by all who loved him.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Beechwood Cemetery in Lockington. Funeral arrangements are being handled through the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home.
