HENDRICK ELLIS NIX

Hendrick Ellis Nix, four month old son of Bill E. and Tae'sha (Carter) Nix III of Piqua, passed away at 8:46 a.m. Sunday, October 15, 2023 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born June 15, 2023.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three siblings, Raelynn, Annisyn, and Salem Nix; maternal grandparents, Natasha and Jamall Carter of Piqua; paternal grandparents, Bill E. and Krista R. Nix Jr. of Piqua; maternal great grandmother, Crystal Wheeler of Piqua; and paternal great grandparents, Wilma Nix of Piqua, and Rex Tipple of Greenville; also many other relatives and friends.

Hendrick was a happy baby that was always smiling and laughing, especially when he was watching his sisters. Hendrick also loved watching football with Dad. Hendrick's smile lit up the room and his little laugh was infectious.

A service to honor his life will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, October 20, 2023 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Monnin officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home as well. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dayton Children's Hospital, Attn: Foundation, One Children’s Plaza, Dayton, OH 45404.
