HELEN EISERT Obituary

Helen Eileen (Hall) Eisert, 85, was born on May 4, 1940 in McDermott to the late Steve & Nola Hall. She was a longtime resident of Piqua and was currently residing at Dorothy Love Apartments in Sidney. On Saturday, October 11, 2025 she passed away peacefully at Hospice House of Miami County, surrounded by love and ready to join her Heavenly Father and all her loved ones that were waiting.

On November 11, 1995, Edwin Lee Eisert and Helen were married at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Piqua and lived 31 happy years together, traveling the United States, wintering in Florida and spending their summers in Michigan while enjoying their beloved pets, Wolfgang, Murphy, and Eddie.

Survivors include her beloved husband and dog, Eddie; four children, Robert “Bobby” Jones of Indian Lake, Rhonda Meckstroth of Piqua, Darrick Jones of Medford, Oregon; a stepson, Brad Eisert of Indiana; eight grandchildren, Amanda Paule, Nick Jones, Lily Jones, Erica Wood, Samantha Steffens, Kaitlyn Jones, Bren Jones, Colin Jones; and four great grandchildren.

Helen was a licensed optician by trade. She was a member of the Eastern Star; a deacon and beloved member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she was active for many years with their choir, which she loved. She will be remembered for her contagious smile, big blue eyes, and “magic” hair. Everyone who loved her will surly miss her big hugs. She was a kind, sweet, and caring friend to many. She was creative, loved to travel, loved her family, loved her parents, and adored her pets. Most of all, Helen was a child of God and knew His love.

A private service to honor her life will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family would request memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Miami County, Inc., 3230 N. County Rd. 25A, Troy, OH 45373. They would also like to extend a deep and heartfelt “Thank You” to the staff at Hospice of Miami County for the incredible, thoughtful, and comforting care provided to Helen and the rest of the family in her final days. Guestbook condolences and expressions of sympathy, to be provided to the family, may be expressed through jamiesonandyannucci.com
